Duke Notes: April 7, 2020 update
MUSIC FOR GOOD
Physicians and Music alums Eric Zhou and Daniel Chang are working on the COVID-19 frontlines in NY. Eric (T '10) and Daniel (T '10) were first-year roommates in Pegram dorm. They are currently working in the Covid-19 Intensive Care Unit as colleagues in the Department of Anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
During their time at Duke, both were active in the music department and minored in music. Dr. Zhou was the former concertmaster of the Duke Symphony Orchestra, a Benenson Award winner, and a student of Professors Hsiao-mei Ku and Eric Pritchard. Dr. Chang was an involved singer-songwriter and cellist on campus. In addition to being a member of the Lunar New Year a capella group, he played an active role in the campus recording studio, Small Town Records. MORE
