4/28/2020 From Stacey Krim - The passing of Lynn Harrell.
The UNC Greensboro Cello Music Collection sends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Lynn Harrell. Lynn was among the last of the great generation of cello legends, and he will be dearly missed.
Stacey says " If anyone wants to share their memories or love of his music, feel free to do so"
Jane Salemson, website manager of the NC Cello Society - "I too send our deepest condolences to the family. A couple of years ago, a friend and I attended a concert at UNC-Greensboro, where Lynn gave many workshops over the years. That evening was a delight to see and hear him as a soloist with his pianist and his students."
